General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Pakistan's COAS, desires multifaceted ties with the U.S.

ISPR reports that COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa spoke with US CENTCOM Commander General Michael Erik Kurilla.

During the conversation, mutual interests, regional stability, defence, and security cooperation were addressed.

The army commander said Pakistan appreciates its ties with the US and looks forward to enhancing them based on shared interests.

ISPR said both sides want to boost bilateral ties in all areas.

US CENTCOM's chief praised Pakistan's military. He praised Pakistan's contribution to regional stability and committed to enhance cooperation at all levels.

Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong met with COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi.

According to ISPR, subjects of mutual interest, defence coordination, CPEC advancement, and regional security were addressed in depth.

Pakistan cherishes China's role in global and regional affairs, and we want to further our strategic alliance, the COAS added.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa said Pakistan would work with foreign allies for peace and stability.

The visiting dignitary praised the COAS for ensuring the safety of Chinese workers in Pakistan and for promoting regional stability.

Ambassador Nong Rong also promised to increase diplomatic engagement with Pakistan.
